Hoorah for today is one of those rare and precious "bank holiday" days here in the land of the fat, and I intend to spend it doing absolutely nothing : ) Well, except for play a little guitar and read some books and perhaps do a bit of drawing. Its looking like it might storm outside which is always good - theres only 3 things that are any good about miami: The thunderstorms, the sunsets and the fact that we randomly acquired a small black panther. Speaking of, the small black panther has now become bonafide house cat after the fat foot incident and is proving herself to be a joyous little bundle of naughtiness. After keeping her in to take her antibiotics for two weeks she didnt seem to want to go outside anymore and just stood at the open door looking confussed before turning round and returning to her nice comfy bed. Cats certainly know a good thing when theyre on to it! It still amazes me though when we're playing "feather stick" and shes racing around the place jumping on your lap and snuggling on you and being generally adorable and hilarious that only a few months ago she was a completely wild creature who'd had no interaction with people. She still wont let anyone else touch her very much and if people come round she'll run off to hide. I wonder what it was that essentially made her choose us? Tis really odd, especially since Ive never particularly been too fond of cats and have always been severely allergic to them - for some reason Im not at all allergic to The Mrauw and niether is my brother who is severely severely allergic to most animals. Maybe she is god in disguise?

Well Im rather excited because its not long now till I return to blighty for a good old catch up with everyone and hopefully alot of hiking in the country side : ) Am particularly looking forward to an adventure up kinder egg mountain with one mr. Riggs and a day of wine drinking and putting the world to rights with the lovely gothicmissy. I just cant wait to get away from the stinking heat and ugliness of miami, although Im a little concerned about leaving daniel here on his own at the height of hurricane season. Luckily most of them have been going well south of us which is just as well since theres been 2 catagory 5 hurricanes in the past couple of weeks! Global warming at its best I guess.

England here I come : D
