HOTT
So, a couple of years have gone by with very little contact thrown my way from those I went to university with. Now, the annual homecoming (beerfest) is coming up and everyone is getting back in contact with me. I should be excited, right? Here's the thing:
I don't want to go.
I had low self-esteem in university, and I tagged along a lot. I didn't like myself then. Why would I want to go back to that?
I'm also a little annoyed with everyone. They're all annoyed/upset/disappointed with me for not going, but they couldn't express interest in me the remainder of the year? I'm not the person I was, and pretending otherwise is just silly.
Am I overreacting? bittered_b, I'm definitely asking you... How do you feel about HOTT?
