The Lab in anatomy was fun. We have labs every Friday and Mrs. Darden told us at the beginning of the year that we would be disecting rats. Well Friday was the day. It was big and yellow with a tail nearly as long as its body. We named our pregnant rat Otis Cheddar Rat. Our group was to skin it. We will be using the same rat for the whole year. We just keep putting it back in a bucket of formaldehyde. For a year as it is being dissected. We didn't finish skinning it, so Otis is kind of wearing a fur cape. Friday was kind of exciting, but we were all expecting to lose the game. We got off to a fairly big lead and we just had to hope we wouldn't let them catch up. They got close, but we won and our fans stormed the field. Sweet revenge. The band was nice as almost every band is. Except KM. I was ready to have a good show and Joey didn't tell the woodwinds that we were going to have a bad show. Why would you tell the band that they are going to have a bad show? But I didn't have a bad show. I was just late on the visual. It is always a great idea to add random hard crap into the show a day before a performance. Oh, but I missed the begining of the third movement because a color guard appered at about count 15 and I had to wait until I could jump back into the phrase to play. The stands were probably one of the best times I had in the stands. Great seats and Charlie was there. Georgia Tech doesn't march Bari saxes, so he marches tenor. He vowed he would never play alto again. Those instrument cases/ cages seem to work fairly well for small instruments, but I don't think that they will ever put my case back in there. Mrs. Kelly gave us ring pops too. So, that distracted me while the band directors complained to us. I thought the show was fine except when the third movement's tempo began to tear with the band who was doing what they know how to do right. The tempo is never with the band, or right in the third movement. Saturday was crap though. I would have liked to go to Brookwood, but I didn't even mention the possibility to my mom. She kept giving me stuff to do. At least the car looks nice since I washed it. And it is clean inside after I vacuumed it. But I got pissed at Wal-Mart with their stupid self serve machines. Admittedly, their customer service wasn't too bad. But the machine was so frustrating that I had to resist the urge to do doughnuts in the parking lot. Today was boring too. Just copied some math that was supposed to be due Friday. Then I set out my clothes for mismatch day and 70's day. Watching the Falcons beat down the Vikings. Then the Simpsons. Then I think I have a bio lab to do. Ok done. I think I have a pretty good outfit for mis-match day and 70's day. Have fun. 4 day week!
