I'll keep this short and sweet, but first, as my whole point of posting revolves around this:
Congratulations to the graduates of 2006!!!
Wow! A year flew by so quickly, and it's another batch of students ending their collegiate life, onward to young urban professional life or further studies perhaps... Point is wow! Congratulations! I'm oh-so-proud of you all! I wish you all well, and hopefully you guys get in really good jobs and companies (the companies that really take care of you, unlike my former company) and that you all find your reason for doing things at work.
I'm so tempted to hint more about not working in my former company as well as give tips to avoid shitty companies like the one I used to work for, but lo. Not in this entry, man. I've decided that this entry will be somewhat mirthful! :)
+_+
Anyhow...........................
So last March 19 was Patrick Echevarria's birthday right? (as well as AnnaBanana's and Tito Boi's) And sure enough, I greeted him 5 bazillion times. (I greeted them too!) For those who forgot (*ahem* Tere!), greet him still. It's never too late!
I promised him weeks before his birthday, that I'd do something online to put him in the hotseat on his birthday. Like an online "roast" of sorts, because it's always such a fun moment to imbalance Pat's stoic nature. But I was unable to do so, due to the fact that I was in Cebu for the weekend. So, well... this is still not the online roast I promised, but probably a prelude to that.
Pat is graduating again tomorrow, for his Computer Engineering double degree.
I SMSed him earlier asking him if he was qualified for honors and other achievement recognitions; such as Valedictorian for the 2nd time around, probably Summa Cum Laude for his 2nd course as well as Departmental Awardee. Obviously I'm teasing about the Valedictorian and Latin Honor thing because it's an Atenean rule that it's not allowed to duplicate such recognition once a person receives the said awards.
He SMSed me back saying something to this effect: "Give chance to others this year."
Admittedly, I find it hard to believe he did not even get a departmental award for Computer Engineering though. But oh well... rules are, um, rules I guess.
However, can I just say how proud I am of Pat???!!!
He practically PERFECTED Computer Engineering. Quatro the whole way on his super senior year, man! I mean. What on earth?! He's such a freak of Nature! And I'm so proud of him. I am honored to be his friend!!!! Whoohoo!!! Congratulations Patrick Starfish!!! Grabe, idol!
Once again, congratulations Pat on both your academic feat as well as your 2nd graduation! Way to go, man! Yay!!! ^_^
If all goes well tonight, I'ma get to go on Saturday, and I could be chismising the night away with my dear friends. ^_^
So yes... tama si Patrick, make the "chismis" my motivation to finish what I OUGHT to finish! :) hahaha!
Mahaba-haba na ata to. Babalik na ako sa trabaho ko. Babay!
[EDIT] The article I'm working on is making me stupid. Dear Lord, I need your grace.[/EDIT]
