Inspiration : Jasmine - Sad to Say (it's a really good song ^^)
It was supposed to be game. Nothing but false pretense...how did it get this far? Tto a point of no turning back?
He could still remember how they met. It started through a simple role playing game. They had met through a game batttle and hit it off well. Hankyung thought he would just be another friend to add to his list, he didn't expect them to send messages back and forth to each other so often. Besides, the otther person was a guy yet whenever he sent the words "I love you," Hankyung felt his heart pound with unexpected speed. When the other guy responded with virtual hugs or kisses, he felt his heart leap with joy and his stomach filled with butterflies. Was he reallty in love?
Soon the game began to deepen some more, to the point where Hankyung went crazy when he didn't talk to the other male. He was sure the other male felt the same way since he would say "I miss you." As weird as Hankyung felt, it seemed as if no one could understand him better than his boyfriend - at least that's what they began to call each other. To his surprise, they became a couple and he couldn't have been happier. He had his heart stolen without being aware of it. Who was the guy that held it hostage?
Kim Heechul. A man capable of many things and one of them included being the receipient of Hankyung's vast amount of love. His sweet words drowned the man in sweet drunken happiness. Happiness so sweet that the world seemed to be more colorful and more wonderful. As if he was sent to some unknown planet where every good thing was magnified a hundred times.
Looking back, Hankyung wonders what went wrong. Did Heechul stop loving him? Was his love too overwhelming that it suffocated Heechul? Did his jealousy get annoying? If that was the case, Hankyung couldn't help it. It was normal for a human being to get jealous when his or her partner was holding hands witth someone or being too happy with someone else right?
Perhaps the answer was right in front of Hankyung's face all along. He wanted to avoid this assumption from the beginning. He didn't want to believe it...no he couldn't accept it. Maybe...just maybe...it was all a game from the beginning for Heechul. He had just taken it too far. It was nothing but a false pretense. Hankyung just blended reality and fantasy together and created an illusion. Then did that mean all those times of saying "I miss you" was just a way of being courteous...something said to everyone. Was the "I love you" merely an automated response to his own words? Hankyung could feel his heart hurt or at least where his heart used to be before the person stole it.
Countless days he spent crying. That wasn't the painful partt though, the painful part was knowing there was no hope left. No hope for love; no hope for happiness; no hope for sweet messages; no hope for friendship; no hope for him. Hankyung could wish all he wanted and cry all he wanted, but time is over for the two of them. Those sweet moments will only become painful memories stored in his empty chest.
Love falls, hope falls, rain falls, he falls and can only whisper, with tears welling up in his swollen bruised eyes, "Come back."
The End
