Snakes, and demons, and jutsu, oh my!
Holy crap.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting Sasuke to actually win. Frankly, I was thinking (and hoping) that Orochimaru would win this battle but it would turn out that Sasuke's mind was still hidden inside somewhere and then he would beat Orochimaru. It seems somewhat anticlimactic for a Sannin. And Jiraiya and Tsunade never got to say goodbye. :single tear:
Of course, as of right now, it could be playing out the other way around, and Oro is still existent somewhere inside Sasuke (this is what's wrong with not reading the dialogue)...which would become a very interesting battle of wills if Naruto and Sasuke fought and their sealed demon counterparts fought to gain control (when they get too weak) in the meantime.
Lovin' Naruto's scenes. Highly uplifting. But I just wish I could understand Japanese fully. Most of what Tsunade was saying to Kakashi and Yamato I couldn't really understand. Though I'm thinking once again he's not allowed to use this jutsu without risk to his life.
But lastly, oh my goodness. My immediate assumption (which is probably so frightening off that it's not even funny) was that he is some sort of incarnation of Shisui. But rationally, maybe he's just someone who owes Sasuke his life and so he'll help him against Itachi (water vs fire, kinda thing) during their fight.
