Funny FFXI story
In FFXI speak:
So I get a PT last night, and we're camping robber crabs in Cape Terrigan. We tried killing a terror pugil but it pretty much kicked our asses. Anyway, there's this RMT camping devil mantas at the entrance to the cave we're in, but she wasn't hurting us so we ignored her. Suddenly, we're in the middle of a fight and I notice she's dragged this pugil over to us. It attacks us, and we have to zone. When I come back, the RMT is dying to a devil manta. I watch her die, then she sends me a /tell asking for raise. I reply, "Fuck no, you MPKed us!" She goes, "Ni I didn't. Raise me."
And then I said the meanest thing I have ever said in-game. And I am sooo proud of it.

*ahem* Well, that's it. Just found it midly amusing. ^^
Translation into English:
My party of 5 people and I were killing crabs when a Real Money Trader (ie, someone who makes gil in-game, then sells the gil for real life money, hence killing our in-game economy) brought a fish over to us. We knew the fish could kill us, so we ran away to a safe place. When I came back, the RMT was dying. I watched her die, then she asked me to raise her (ie cast a spell to bring her back so she wouldn't have to start over far away) and I refused. She then TOLD me to raise her. I used an emote to say "Kiarren thinks you can just rot there." and walked away. Usually I pride myself on being 'the nice white mage' in-game, but this asshole so deserved it. XD
