I sent her a link to the article about Star Trek deflector technology being a real possibility and how they want to use it on missions to Mars to keep astronauts from getting radiation cancer.

Now my zodiac sign is Cancer.

So my mother sends me back this response

"I hope that it doesn’t get rid of all cancer……I wouldn’t want you to be eradicated………………………."
