Okay maybe I dont know the whole situation but there are a couple of kids I want to take over my knee and spank the holy shit out of right now. Maybe its their parents fault by raising them a certain way, I don't know. At this point I don't care. An online friend of mine is not due until July and she is already having contractions and other bad bad stuff so doctor put her on bedcare. Are her two eldest helping her with her toddler? No. And she isn't exactly in a position to physically make them at this point. They know she can't do anything to them. Her hubbie better step up the bat soon and shake them by the scruff.
I was taking care of my mother and my newborn sister at 4 1/2 years old, all by myself. I think a teen and pre-teen can help take care of their pregnant mother and 3 year old sister. I'm so mad I'm spitting nails. This is why I hate the whole "Your not allowed to spank children" mentality. If the kids don't understand consequences, they walk all over their parents and the parents have no recourse and the world just gets worse and worse.
No one should be basically abandoned when they are going through a potentially lifethreatening pregnancy. Her poor husband has to commute a bit to work and works fulltime, there is not much he can do without sacrificing the other needs of the family, such as food and shelter. Those little shits better start pulling their weight.
