Fiber Epiphany

So I figured that I could crochet without hurting my thumbs. Bought a size G hook and a cushy grip for small hooks and set to work to figure out how to hold the yarn in my left hand without my thumb getting involved. First off getting the cushy grip on was not easy and put a bit of a strain on my hands to get to that point. Then figuring out how to keep my thumb from wanting to help took a bit, but I finally managed it and ended up with a nicely even chain too. By that point my hands hurt though, so I put it away for the night. Hopefully tonight I can prove that starting with that technique will not put undo strain on my hands. Though if I can even get 30 minutes at a time out of the technique, it will be an improvement over not even being able to do two stitches of naalbinding.
