Hey guys
I'm tentatively back. There's a whole new mind living in my old bb's metal brain now. It's not without its quirks, but hey, it's working. *knocks on wood* I lost... a lot of things. Most of them were special software I used to have, though, but some files were corrupted, too. I should look after my fics better, shouldn't I? *sighs*
Anyway. All my bookmarks are gone, too, naturally, so I'll be navigating blind for a while. Tell me when I'm missing somewhere to be, 'kay?
So what's been going on around here? I kept an eye on merlin_holidays because they're impossible to resist at any distance, though I didn't open the art until last night when I was back just in case. ;) I wanted to come back with recs, but it's still a bit of a mess around here. I'll compile a list a bit later. There is SO MUCH GOODNESS in this fest, oh my God. Totally feeling inadequate again (shut up, JJ). I'm beginning to think that it's normal. But on the plus side, the angsty fic that ate my brain seems to be picking up again, which means there's a chance I'll be free of it at some point.
How has ksadvent been doing? Any recs? I've just seen some gorgeous art, but I haven't yet read anything -- not since, what was it, Friday? Do I need to have any priorities? :) (Also, how come we don't have any snowy K/S icons this year? I mean not from somebody's art, the legit icon ones? Has the fandom shrunk so much that all the icon makers left us? *pouts*)
If you don't have recs, feel free to whine to me about Christmas shopping or anything. I've discovered I have a medical condition I've been neglecting, and so far it's unclear how serious it proves to be, but it's already fairly obvious that finding out will be tiring and time consuming. So no NY shopping done on my part yet, and only 15 days left. /o\
In other news, I'm happy I can be around again. :D
