*glances around* This is turning into a bit of a meme thingy... Ahem. I've been thinking about how certain shows instantly create fandoms and some shows don't. Is it the slash factor? *g* Also, I've been musing a lot about how I watch a lot of things, but am very rarely moved enough to write for them. You're definitely not the only one not seeing the appeal. *high-fives*

Finished watching all nine episodes (thus far) of The Secret Circle. It's cute and very teen supernatural drama and I'll probably watch the rest when it comes out, but I'm not in love or anything. The series went waaaaaaaay off from canon, doing it's own thing, which I think works better anyway. *shrug*

Oh bb, please don't give up on Fringe. Like I said above, S1 is really really pants. I didn't like Olivia that much and everything was kind of disjointed and WTF? inducing (I couldn't get behind the pseudo-science of the show, it wasn't believable and I didn't really see where they were going with any of it). BUT! Because I have nothing better to do, I persevered and boy was I paid back in full. I started liking Olivia (her back story makes her more human) and the world suddenly because a place I could believe in. The plot got complicated/intricate/exciting and just bloody watchable. Would it make you happier to know that Leonard Nimoy is in it, being his badass self? ;)

LOL. It wouldn't make me happier, but perhaps a bit more intrigued. ;)
