So, I had this idea for a short romantic tale. I never wrote a Star Trek AU, and I guess I was reading too much of SPN shmoop at the time, so I started writing before I knew it, thinking that I'd get it out of my system and go back to, you know, serious business *cough* DNSB. You know what happened? I was cautiously aiming for 20000 words, and now

I tried drowning it in alcohol. Still here.

Alcohol? So now you see why it is so long: pour some % on that and it will grow like a crazy tribble. Rule number one: you stab it with a fork. Never EVER use something more alcoholic than a lemonade, or you will end up with Never Ending Story.
