Just started watching the series "Chinggis Khan". So far, the show has exceeded my expectation. Great effort was taken to ensure historical accuracy & cultural authenticisty.
Note the resemblance between the historical Khan & the actor.
The lead actor Baasan is a direct descendant of Chagatai, second son of Genghis Khan.
An imposing physical presence (5"11", 200lb), Baasan started his career as a classic dancer. No offense to Baasan but I would run to the nearest toilet to puke my gut out if I see this Genghis Khan reincarnate in unitard on stage.
