I didn't make it through the preliminary screening of the Monbugakusho scholarship.
And while the news is devastating I'm not exactly down as I expected to be. As soon as I heard the news, I immediately figured out the weaknesses of my application and the next steps that I have to ensure the scholarship next year. In a way, I am relieved because I was just hoping for stability this year and which I worry about leaving had my scholarship pushed through.
As Everything But the Girl sings, "Better things will surely come my way."
