(no subject)
I'm in the mood for a trip. I'd like to hang out with a friend and just have fun. Laugh, talk and be care free. I want to be around people who enjoy my company and like me. I don't think I can hop on a plane and do that right now (have the time but no cash flow). I guess the next best thing would be instant messages.
On another note, I unpacked my book collection yesterday. I had books scattered all over the living room. Unbelievable! I sorted through all of them and tossed the books that I've never read, books I'll probably never read and the girlie romance books (I'm over that phase). I have a nice pile to give to Half Price Books. I also went through Jamie's video cassette tape collection. I got tired of them being scattered everywhere and in boxes. I couldn't make a dent in organizing that collection. There's so MANY tapes and I ran out of space to put them.
Today's agenda: more cleaning! I'm going to unpack his books today, finish organizing the second bedroom and the computer room and shred old bills and such. It's not exciting but I don't have much going on. Plus, I want to keep busy. Being lazy is no longer fun & relaxing anymore, it's just boring and pathetic now. Also, I'm so tired of Gilmore Girls reruns that I could vomit if I see one more.
PS I've read all of Jane Austen's novels. Yes, I'm proud of that geeky fact. Why? You wanna fight about it? ;)
Update: Five boxes later, I've unpacked his VHS tape collection but only to place them in plastic storage bins. I wish I could go through it and clear out at least half of that collection but it's not mine so it's off limits. I think I'll actually meet my goal of getting that room organized.
