My day, assorted ramblings and the like
O.k. So, this morning, or should I say the continous day...was all good. Except I got no sleep at all. So hoping for a good sound snooze tonight! Everytime I *almost* got to sleep, Argali's cell (work emergency phone, he is the lucky guy on call the week of the major roll out of new software, cameras, etc!) went off!! Arrrrrrgh!
Still the meeting was good. Got to give my friend a gift thats been in my closet for what, five years waiting for her to show up in my life, or is it me in hers? Thats besides the point...Anyway I bought it for my best friend when I was in Paris, and before I could give it to her, she out of the blue said "I hate scarves" so...I didn't give it to her. Then I meet this new lady and she wears a scarf *everyday* so I figure, well, its *her* scarf. I gave it to her today, and told her that it belonged to her, I was just hanging on to it until we met, and she was touched and thrilled...so I got to make someone happy and that makes me happy. Win win! Then rest of the day, boring as all get out. Nothing good on the net, not even interesting news day far as I can tell, and nothing good on the tube. Ended up smoking like a train staring at trees outside, but I need outdoor time-the smoking could go tho'. Then chauffering the kidlet around..its BAND CAMP week! Tres importante!!! Plus its girlfriend face time. Caught him making out and came up behind him with a loud Ahem and I didn't know such a white boy could turn that shade of scarlet..very very funny! Ok, I'm tired, rambling and hungry. Gonna eat some cake before my sugar crashes any farther. I'm according to the drs. *extremely* hypoglecemic now. Figures, I once was diabetec.
