I am kind of dreading watching the last two eps I have to go before I'm caught up. When does the hiatus end? Whine. Could O'Loughlin BE sexier? I just... ya know, I always had a thing for the SEALs and just, wow. Wow. ILY Squiddy. And the funny, and the ironic, and the feirce protectiveness, and the way he seems very world weary and yet is

You're right, there definitely is an element of... "and also, I'm an adrenaline junky." Have you ever... do you watch Doctor Who? The Doctor will get himself into this horrible, god awful, going to die situation, and he'll go "ohhhh, not good, bad, very bad, this is very bad" and then he will GRIN GRIN GRIN and be all "but since we're here, let's do this!" LOL. I think Steve may be like that. Like, maybe he's not going to START shit, but he'll certainly out-risk the other guy, and enjoy doing it.
The whole football thing, yeah. I don't know if you care to the depth that I'm going to tell you, but...
You want a quarterback that can throw first, run second. The running is optional, like icing on the cake. the dude needs to be able to throw, and if all his guys are guarded too heavily, if the QB is a good runner and isn't a coward and can either gain back what yardage they've lost or get that and more, excellent.
Who is beautiful at this is Tim Tebow, who used to be Florida's QB. He'll throw 90% of the time but in a pinch hit, when they want to take the other guys off guard, or when there's no other choice, Tebow will not only get the yardage back but he'll run straight into big tackles that most QB's would cower away from.
HOWEVER. QB's that run too much aren't looked very well upon because it's like, alright showoff, you're shoes are gold encrusted, we got it. You're not a running back, you're a QB. The ability to run the ball by the QB should be something you have in your backpocket to use as a last ditch effort or as a surprise, not the mainstay.
Our, LSU's, QB was pretty notorious for running a lot, and he was good at it and I appreciated the fact that he wasn't a coward about being hit (a lot of QB's are, because they have to protect their arm, their arm is their money) BUT he didn't run as a back up he ran because he was a shitty QB and couldn't throw worth a shit with any accuracy, and ran so often that the other team always knew to look for the QB sneak and therefore he never gained a whole lot when he did run.
Stevo the punk QB. LOL. Nah, I tend to think he was like Tebow, damn good QB with the ADDED bonus of not being a coward and knowing how and when to run the ball. And of course he enjoyed it. I don't think he was a punk about it though, but his comment "why throw when you can run" contradicts my theory. So I dunno.
