And while I'm at it, why don't I picspam you? If you don't know what Rescue Me is then get out of my journal you really really need to look at this picspam and start watching it. It's about firemen and their fucked up lives and how, even when their personal lives are shit, they are a band of brothers and they walk into fire to save people they don't even freakin' know.

Oh, Tommy. This man owns my heart, and it's not only because it's Denis Leary. Though, only Denis Leary would write a character like this, and only Denis Leary would play him like this. (If you don't already know about my Denis Leary love, seriously, where have you been?!) I just. Tommy breaks me, and he does it in a way that has me crying and laughing at the same time and I don't get it. I dont' get that, but only Rescue Me can make you hate AND love the characters so viscerally.
Kenny!!! The lieutenant is LOVE. Love I tell you. Funny motherfucker, that John Scurti. And he'll also break your heart. God, I miss this show. I didn't remember how much until I started iconing it just now.
This is Sean, and Seany owns me. Fully and completely owns me. He's adorable, he's funny, he's daft as fuck, and I fucking love him with every single fiber of my being. He's really fuckin' hot too. You can't tell by this picture, but.

And I ask you... what picspam of Rescue Me is complete without the Franco/Sean? It's not. It's just not. They are BFF and in Kelly-land that means they are lovers. But even if they're not, I still fucking ADORE their relationship.
And that's Franco, and can I just say... *is incoherant*. GOD does that man have a beautiful body. And also, he's gorgeous. And also, he's BEAUTIFUL. But, on a less shallow note, I fucking love Franco because he is vulgar and he is all man and he is funny as hell and he's a horndog and he is so incredibly loyal and loving and and... and just. God.
Denis. Heee. Tommy is all "OH MY GOD ARE YOU GOING TO SHUT UP I FUCKING HATE YOU!" here. Tommy cracks me the fuck up, and gah. I just love that Denis Leary brought this wonderful show into my life.
Nobody does pissy quite like him.
Again with the Franco body. This show loves to show you the naked, and I love that. Also, this is when Franco got burned, and guh. My heart.
And this is just an example of one of the many ways in which Tommy breaks me.
And now I'm going to go nurse The Cold That Won't Leave EVER, eating a Subway Italian BMT, and watching Rescue Me. Bye!
ETA: I just have to say that even when Rescue Me disappoints me, I still love it to a hugely phenomenal degree. Because RM disappoints me by not living up to the standards I've put into it, and the standards are HIGH, because even as it's worst, Rescue Me is still many levels above most any other American tv show that's not on HBO. And even as it's worst, it still makes me low-down-belly-cackle more in one hour than most shows do all season.
