Sometimes FoxNews isn't Satan! I found this link somewhere, I forget right now, but it's a clip from FoxNews. They're doing a story on the fact that these "church people" protested at the funeral of a soldier, with signs saying "God hates you" and "Semper Fi Fags" (don't ask me, I don't get it either) and this woman... Oh my God, you guys, I will never get this. These people that say we deserved 9-11 because of "the gays", and we deserved Katrina because NO has the Gay Pride Parade, and all that jazz.
This woman actually says, she SAYS this, in responce to the reporter asking why they would want to bring further misery to this family that is burying a loved one, she says that the family burying their son brought their misery on themselves. Because... because why? Because they allowed their son to be gay? Because they allowed their son to fight in the American military? I don't know.
Anyway. The point is? The reporter blew a fucking GASKET at her, and it was wonderful to watch. Not professional, no, but exactly what I would have been saying to this stupid fucking moron lady that's apparently a church leader. Watch it here.
This reminds me of my favorite quote when dealing with batshit bible thumpers (there's a regular God-fearing religious person, and then there's batshit bible thumpers, I won't apologize for saying that), it's from Dead Man. "Your vision of God is my vision's worst enemy."
These people. I swear. These people that think it's okay, EVER, to go to someone's funeral, and spout ugliness and vitrioile and "you're going to hell" rhetoric, whether it's because they're gay and that's "a sin" or because they're a soldier fighting in a cause they don't believe in, they should all be shot. Or at the very least, jailed. Protest all you want, fucker, but NOT where the family burying the person they love can hear you. WHILE THEY'RE BURYING THEM! Assholes.
