#84: Would you have one of your fingers surgically removed if it somehow guaranteed immunity from all major diseases?
I think I could give up the middle finger on my left hand. Sure.
#85: Would you like to be famous? In what way?
No. Simple quiet fulfilling life for me thanks.
#86: How do you picture your funeral? Is it important for you to have people mourn your death?
How would you like to be remembered after you die?
What would you like said at your funeral?
Whom would you like to speak?
Viking Burial at Sea. Archers with fire arrows to set me a-flame. 3 or 4 hot virgin men for the journey. I want tears people. At least one of you better have to be carted away to an asylum.
Seriously, Cremation. Scattered somewhere special. Where ever Jason think appropriate, meaning somewhere he thinks is special to us. Nothing has to say anything except if possible I'd like
empressvesica to sing 'Wind beneath my wings.' I just made myself snort, possibly a chortle.
#87: Which of the following restrictions could you best tolerate: leaving the country permanently, or never leaving the state in which you leave now?
Can I go anywhere? Then I'd leave the country. It's not like people can't come see us.
#88: You, your closest friend, and your father are on vacation together, hiking in a remote jungle. Your two companions stumble into a nest of poisonous vipers and are bitten repeatedly. You know neither will live without an immediate shot of anti-venom, yet there is only a single dose of anti-venom and it is in your pocket. What would you do?
Okay see this question is hard for me. Well, if it was bio-dad then he'd be a goner. If it was my daddy...I would still give the anti-venom to my friend. My Dad's old, has had a life, She's young, still living.
#89:Where would you choose to be if you could place yourself anywhere on a scale from one to ten, where one is hardship, struggle, and extraordinary accomplishment and ten is comfort, peace of mind, and no accomplishment. Why? Where are you now?
8 please. I've had enough struggle thanks. Well...let's see, I'm at about a 4 I guess, without extraordinary accomplishment.
#90: If you could choose the sex and physical appearance of your soon-to-be-born child, would you do it?
Would you like to have a child much brighter and more attractive than yourself?
What difficulties might result?
How much would it bother you to have an ugly, stupid, or crippled child?
To ensure your baby would be born bright, attractive, and healthy, would you use a safe medical procedure to genetically alter the developing embryo?
Would a baby designed in this way still feel like your child?
No.
I want the child to be healthy.
No difficulties.
Probably would bother me, but I'd get over it. I'd love them as my child too.
Nope.
Nope. I'm not God or the Universe or anything.
#91: Would you rather play a game with someone more or less talented than you? Would it matter who was watching?
More talented. Bad Game players aren't fun to play games with. Wouldn't matter at all who was watching.
#92: Is there something you've dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven't you done it?
Is it better to have dreams that will never come to pass, or to have no dreams at all?
How much better would your life be if things you dream of doing or having were granted to you?
Yes, My Inn, Not there yet in my life. We're working toward it.
I think it's better to have dreams.
I dont know how my life would be. It's possible I would love it but it's also possible I would hate it. Not psychic. If I'm meant to have it I will and I will be happy.
#93: While in the government, you discover the President is committing extortion and other serious crimes. By exposing the situation you might bring about the President's downfall, but your career would be destroyed because you would be framed, fired, and publicly humiliated on other matters. Knowing you would be vindicated five years later, would you blow the whistle?
What if you knew you would never be vindicated?
I would blow the whistle. I would take my punishment and serve my time regardless of vindication.
#94: On a busy street you are approached apologetically by a well-dressed stranger who asks for a dollar to catch a bus and make a phone call. He says he has lost his wallet. What would you do? If approached in the same way by a haggard-looking stranger claiming to be hungry and unable to find a job, what would you do?
If I had it I would give it nice clothes or not. I almost never carry cash.
#95: If by sacrificing your life you could contribute so much to the world that you would be honored in all nations, would you be willing to do so?
If so, would you make the same sacrifice knowing that someone you thoroughly disliked would receive the honor while you went unrecognized?
I think I answered this one already. If I had to sacrifice my life I would. Recognition or not.
#96: Knowing you had a 50 percent chance of winning and would be paid 10 times the amount of your bet if you won, what fraction of what you now own would you be willing to wager?
I have 20 unclaimed dollars in my wallet right now...There you go.
#97: What are your most compulsive habits? Do you regularly struggle to break these habits?
I worry. I am fearful. I struggle with them everyday.
#98: You know you will die of an incurable disease within three months. Would you allow yourself to be frozen within the week if you knew it would give you a modest chance of being revived in 1,000 years and living a greatly extended life?
No. The life I have now is all that matters to me.
#99: You are driving late at night in a safe but deserted neighborhood when a dog suddenly darts in front of your car. Though you slam on the brakes, you hit the animal. Would you stop to see how the injured animal was? If you did so and found the dog was dead but had a name tag, would you contact the owner?
Answer stolen from BP
Yes, I'd stop and check on the dog. Yes, I'd contact the owner. I'd probably take the blanket in my trunk and wrap the dog in that and take it to a local vet unless the owner was nearby and could come get their dog.
#100: What do you strive for in your life: accomplishment, security, love, power, excitement, knowledge, or something else?
Happiness and Balance.
#101: An eccentric millionaire offers to donate a large sum to charity if you will step -completely naked- from a car onto a busy downtown street, walk four blocks, and climb back into the car.
Knowing that there would be no danger of physical abuse, would you do it?
In terms of relative unpleasantness, how would you rank the following: a nude stroll in public; being spat upon by a crowd of people; being arrested for shoplifting; begging for money at an airport?
What is the most embarrassing thing you can imagine?
What bothers you about looking bad in front of strangers?
More questions would have to be answered. What Charity? How large a sum of money? What city?
If the answers were satisfactory, i'd do it.
Being spat upon #1 in terms of unpleasantness.
Pants splitting at work on a day I'm wearing skimpy panties.
I don't care about looking bad in front of strangers. It's the possibility of them not remaining strangers and having to hear about it over and over and over again, that bothers me.
