Something I don't get.

Why is it that there are so many people who hate Sora because he "killed their favorite characters?"

Possibly minor Days spoilers and much rantiness. )

Actually, one of the things I love about Sora is that I believe he totally will be able to go back to having a normal life without letting a severe amount of angst haunt him. There's a line between maturing from an experience and going all emo about it.

Was does Sora really have to be resentful over? He lost two years of his childhood, but in the end got what mattered, his friends and his home, back. Sora is more aware than most that good people make bad decisions (Riku) so I don't see him as the type to resent others, Ansem and even to a smaller extent the Organization for their mistakes -stop them, yes, when at his emotional breaking point, hate them, yes, but in hindsight there just isn't enough in him to keep holding those grudges [feelings that he's well aware of can call the Darkness]. His hatred and his passions are perfectly reflective of a teenager's in this regard, in that as he grows and looks back they are softened.

Friendship, his own desire to be happy with his friends, that's what truly drove him. Sure, he has an intrinsic sense of justice but overall every choice he made in his journey was based around finding Kairi and Riku, not 'doing good and being the hero' and he sympathized with Donald and Goofy in their quest to find King Mickey.

I can't see how once he comes through his trials and is lucky enough to have gained everything back and help so many he would waste it by sitting around and secretly resenting the world and his 'burden'. Having the saved the worlds doesn't automatically trivialize everyday life.
