She's back. D:
So there’s this one Kairi basher/Mary Sue writer I didn’t hear from for a long while, so I assumed that she was A) dead B) got discouraged and left C) got banned for her choose your own adventure stories. It was probably C. I was glad because she decided to spout all this nonsense to me when I was naïve and tried to help her improve her story. Yeah, uhm, after a while of talking to her I just wanted to gouge my eyes out. then I started to ignore and she disappeared.
But that’s not the point here, My point is: SHE’S BACK. That fact terrifies me to no end because she’s like those girls who are older than me and act like a seven-year-old. Well, considering my age many people are older than me… Anyways, curious to see if it’s the same person, I click the profile and get this huge big paragraph on why she hates Kairi, Kairi/Sora, Kairi/Riku and all pairings involving Kairi.
Apparently Kairi is a walking plot device, pathetic, lame, and has the most pathetic (redundant much?) line in the game, which was “You’re not acting very friendly!” It’s a Disney game! Not just Squeenix, gosh! The Disney franchise is targeted for KIDS; I highly doubt any of the characters would cuss. Never. Unless some fan girl takes over.
Poor Kairi being so nice and it is so annoying. Princess of Heart ring any bells? And calling her a Mary Sue too, no, just NO. Your character isn’t much better, you know. Sora isn’t angst-y enough? ANGST-Y AND SORA DON’T BELONG IN THE SAME SENTENCE UNLESS THERE IS A NOT BETWEEN THEM.
Also, Kairi isn’t that hard to keep in character. She’s sweet and nice but mess with her friends and she’ll kick your ass. In general like Sora, but less perky and more levelheaded.
And as I read on, I can only go: How? What? KUSARI SMASH. I can’t contain those small but deadly paragraphs in one rant because I can’t describe them with any other words than pure rage.
Oh, I almost forgot, thank you for screwing up my second OTP for me.
