KH fandom, we need to have a talk again. I know, I know---lack of new material tends to make it harder for new stories if you have no imagination and so you turn to other things to inspire you in your fic writing. That's good!
... well, here's the thing. Inspiration is one thing. Blatant copying of the idea is another.
Well, for one-- you already say is a version of The Little Mermaid, your Kingdom Hearts version. That already fills me with foreboding. Your summary even more so. Then, against my better judgment, I decide to look inside and see what you've written.
Oh my... wow, the scene seems awfully familiar. And the song. *flips on The Little Mermaid* Why, say it isn't so! It's DIRECTLY from the movie.
The whole fic is like that, up to the end of the first chapter, which is directly ripped, script and all from the movie.
Let's see here--it's King Sora ruler of the mer-people. And his daughter, Crystal. Guess I should be glad her name wasn't Hikari or something. And she's in love with Prince Kaiden. A human. Who's the son of King Riku.
