People don't seem to listen!

Remember the TV Tropes Wiki?
Well today's specimen comes from the trope, "What Measure is a Non Human"

Well, it starts like this...

"Where to begin with Kingdom Hearts 2? The story is downright schizophrenic towards this issue. It's just as a-okay to slice up the Nobodies who *are* humans (aside from the issue of having either no heart or no physical body [the game is a bit confusing on that point]) as it is to kill the nonhuman-like ones. Never mind the many, many "I Just Want To Be Normal" speeches the human-Nobodies give during the game, illustrating that they have all the myriad emotions and thoughts of any of the nice creatures you meet during your adventures. The issue of whether the non-human Nobodies are similarly sentient is never really addressed. And the worst part is that this is all in spite of the fact that you spend the first five hours or so of the game playing as Roxas - who is later revealed to be a Nobody."

But then somebody else says:

"To offer an Alternate Character Interpretation used in another article at this wiki: Two Words: THEY'RE VILLAINS!* Even if they are human, they are still evil, and you would have to kill them anyway, just like any other youthful RPG hero."

To which someone replies

"To offer an alternate Alternate Character Interpretation (hoo boy, has this become a can of worms): The human-Nobody members of Organization XIII aren't really villains that much, as they have a non-evil goal (they want hearts). They're not characterized as blatently evil with the possible exception of the Big Bad (and one of them even makes a Heroic Sacrifice). And even though their means are morally crappy (they get hearts by putting The Heartless in Sora's way and have him kill them, and you need to steal a person's heart to make a Heartless, they have finished that part of the plan by the end of the story. And that means that Sora is basically killing them because they Just Want To Be Normal. (Oh wait, and they've kidnapped his girlfriend. That too.)"

Then:

"Bread Milk Eggs Squik aside, near the very end Sora has recovered Kairi and still continues killing Nobodies instead of just getting out of there and letting them have their stupid hearts."

Then again:

Probably we wouldn't have as much of a problem with this aspect of the game if they'd explained the whole Organization XIII subplot a bit more. Curiously, this just happens to be the rumored focus of a new handheld spinoff of the series in which you play as Roxas again - and get to be made even more uncomfortable as you get to know the other Organization members as characters

* She's reffering to this example in Draco in Leather Pants trope:

"Organization XIII, from the Kingdom Hearts series, gets this because of their seemingly sympathetic motivation of regaining their hearts so they can become complete and feel emotion again. People tend to forget that, in pursuit of this goal, they manipulated Sora and erased his memories, they tried to corrupt Riku, they kidnapped Kairi, they unleashed The Heartless and they messed with many worlds. Yet, some people seem to think that Sora murdered the poor, defenseless Organization and that they were innocent bystanders who just wanted their hearts back and did nothing to provoke Sora."

All in all, it's just... just ... Gah! There's more KH wierdness to be found on that site, but, man alive, that just takes the cake!

It makes me ashamed to be a regular there....

whatthefuckery, organization
