I don't write for reviews. Sorry if it looks like that was what I was implying, but honestly, I don't. The stories I had the most fun writing ending up being far less successful than the one story everyone liked. I hated it, even though it was the popular one
( ... )
I'd leave it up, just incase some random weirdo (like me! XD) goes browsing in the back and happens upon it. Then again, I, personally, hate it when people take down their fics 'cause someone might have like it.
In the end, though, it's your choice what you do with your fic. Do as you like. 'S long as you don't make a fuss about it, it should be fine. ^^
Unless you need the space (dunno how ff.net works), I'd leave it up. I know how much it sucks to post something and not get any feedback, but someone might surf over and choose to read it.
I don't think it's bratty, per se, and certainly not like holding chapters ransom for continued reviews.
I would leave it up. I mean, I posted a fic in the FF7 section (probably the only section that moves at the same rate as KH) and I got my first review the next day, but then it took me two weeks to hear from anyone else. Now I think it has like 6 reviews or something.
Patience, young grasshopper.
Although I do agree that you shouldn't be writing just for reviews. :p
I know how it feels not to get any reviews either - since I posted a fic there a couple of weeks ago. But you should still keep it there, just in case. But if you don't get reviews on ff.net then you should post it somewhere else - you should get some feedback eventually.
However, I agree that saying "If I don't get 423432384732942 reviews, then I won't update!" annoys me greatly. Especially when the author has quite a lot of reviews already.
