Quit knocking down the bird's nest. Every Monday morning I walk by and see the same bird rebuilding its nest in the exact same spot only to see the remnants of the nest a day later. Just leave it alone! If you don't want it coming back next year, then do something *after* the fledgelings (should it be lucky enough to have any) have left the nest. And don't even think about knocking down the nest after it's laid eggs. AGAIN.
