Camping Comics: My Butt Is on Fire!!!
KFP had a snow day today and has been very creative. Here is a comic he made this morning, with descriptions by KFP. You can click on the images to see them larger.
Panel 1: A character named Max steps out of his tent and yawns, in the morning.
Panel 2: Max's friend, Michael, says, "Hi," and Max says, "Looks like we need more firewood" while he is looking at the burned-out fire.
Panel 3: Max says, "Let's go" and runs off to the forest. Michael follows after him and trips on a rock.
Panel 4: Michael falls flat on his face into the fire pit and says, "Oof!"
Panel 5: A few minutes later, Michael is carrying a stack of wood and says, "This is hard work." Then Max says, "That branch would make perfect firewood," while he's pointing to an old branch on a tree.
Panel 6: Max climbs up to the branch, sits on it, and then starts cutting it off the trunk of the tree.
Panel 7: Max finishes cutting the branch off, and it falls out from underneath him while he's floating in the air for a second, thinking "Uh-oh."
Panel 8: Max falls through the air towards the ground screaming, "Aaaaaaahhh" while the saw follows after him.
Panel 9: The branch is falling towards Michael, followed by Max, followed by the saw. Michael is thinking, "Which one will hit me first?"
Panel 10: The log hits Michael, and Michael says, "Oof!" Then Max falls on top of the log and says, "Ow!" Then the saw lands near them and Max says, "I'll get the log off."
Panel 11: When Max takes the log off, he actually rolls it upside-down, putting him on the bottom and Michael on the top. Michael asks, "Hey, Max, where are you?" And Max says, "M her Mechle," because the log is on top of him.
Panel 12: Max pulls himself out from under the log and says, "I think we have too much firewood" but then quickly decides that they don't have too much firewood but have just enough.
Panel 13: A few minutes later, Max and Michael have arranged the small logs of wood in the firepit and are sweating and panting while trying to get the giant branch on top of the pile.
Panel 14: They finally get the branch on top of the firepit, and Michael says, "Time to light it!"
Panel 15: All the wood bursts into flames, and most of the grass around the firepit bursts into flames as well. Max and Michael both jump up into the air with their pants on fire. Max says, "My butt's burning!"
Panel 16: Max and Michael both crawl out of the fire with their pants charred and both say together, "We definitely have too much firewood."
