What are you doing this week-end?
That's a pretty common question, and the end of this week was no exception. Usually I have little things that I do, but basically just poke around at stuff, go out for coffee on Saturday with folks and try to keep my level of evil to a minimum.
But then again, sometimes life just has a way of reorganising things for you.
Last night I received a phonecall from my Dad that my Mom would be bringing my aunt and uncle in from my home town. Yesterday afternoon my cousin was in an automotive accident and is now in a (medically sustained) coma. Right now the prognosis isn't very good. I believe that I've heard when they try and keep you in a coma they're fighting against swelling of the brain... though of course I'm no doctor so who knows exactly.
Either way, it appears that the week-end will be a lot of intense family stuff. I may still go out for coffee, but right now it's too early to tell what is going on. Family first is the scheme.
