lesson learned...
so, it's been forever since i last updated, but i just wanted to warn you, dear lj community, that when using a serated knife, please use it with great caution. why the warning? well, at work today (the bakery/coffeshop) i was slicing a bagel, and absent-mindedly sliced my finger as well. and it hurt. a lot. and there was blood. a lot of it. and i'm still in a bit of shock over the whole thing. so learn from me, please, and be careful. a good finger is a terrible thing to waste. good news, though? i got to go home early. but honestly, i would have rather worked a whole shift, considering. well, g'day to you.
