Ohmygosh! Glad you're ok. That's certainly not a situation to play around with. I can't believe she hit you! It makes me so angry and just confirms my suspicions that no one is really paying attention fully behind the wheel. Scary.

so that is that. again, i am okay. the ER took a thousand xrays. they admitted me quickly (i guess tuesday mornings are slow). but there was a lot of wait time between doctor visit, xray tech visits, etc. to pass the time, i held my breath and breathed funny to make fun patterns on the monitors.

You love that trick, don't you.

Holy crap! I'm glad you're ok... sounds like it was a close one!

My mom once got run over by a car while she was on a bike. The car was stopped at a stop sign, and I guess the driver's foot slipped off the break and she rolled right into my mom. Tucker (who was 2 at the time) was riding in a child seat on the back of the bike. My mom's leg was the only thing the stopped the car from rolling right over him.

Seriously scary stuff. Bikers just seem so vulnerable. And drivers so... oblivious....

Crikey. One of my biggest fears is to hit someone on a bike, or someone walking.
