a question for thought
hey, do any of you intellects know anything about russian culture? i have a question about names.
do females of a family feminize their last name by adding an 'a' to the end? i have been wondering this for a while because they always talk about marat safin and his sister, something safina. i think my suspicions have been confirmed when yesterday maria sharapova was playing, and the camera spotted something sharapov, her father.

speaking of other cultures, i really wanna join the "Cooperative International Studies Program". it looks really cool. it's been really tough for me because theres like a thousand clubs and such at my school that i would love to be a part of (like drama) but once march starts my life is consumed by tennis, which isnt so bad, but kinda restricting. but this club meets like twice a month and it ends in like december, so it wouldnt interfere. we get to go to new york one time and a couple other field trips, and every meeting is a big ol' buffet of international foods. plus, i love learning about other cultures. it's awesome.
i also want to join the forensics club. not because i have any interest in forensics, but because mrs baldwin is starting it. and basically i can just show up at any meeting and im part of the club. so during tennis season, it wouldnt matter if i dont go.
hey! im having lunch with mrs baldwin on tuesday! beau will be there. but you know who wont? timmy. he is irate that he cant go (he doesnt have that lunch wave) and i dont think he knows beau will be there but i asssume he will be irate when he finds out.
