Oh, The Irony
What started as (I think) a head cold has (as my colds tend to do) moved down into my chest where it's developing into bronchitis. In my staff conference call this morning, my supervisor said, "Don't come in to the office today and make all of us sick!" I am "walking wounded" and can get some work done, which is good because there is work that needs doing on my current projects.
Today they are giving free flu shots at my office. It wouldn't do me any good to drag myself in to San Mateo, because they won't give the shot to anyone who is obviously sick as I am. I have to get well first, and then I can be immunized. At least my insurance should cover the cost of the shot at 100%, as I understand it.
