House Surprise
When I got home from Chengdu, Lisa had a surprise for me.
Lisa repainted the front porch while I was away!
You might say, "What, again?" but the porch needs to be repainted about every three years. The climate here, notably the harsh sun, tears up paint, even good quality paint, and the porch wears more than most places.
Indeed, I'm glad we have metal siding on the house rather than paint because otherwise we probably would have had to repaint at least once in the years we've been here.
She also repainted the firewood storage box.
Lisa had been working on the preparation for some time before I left, but with me out from underfoot, she could really get to work on the project without me getting in the way.
