Lisa carved our Jack-O-Lantern for this year, and we put the debris out in the east lot.
The birds did come to investigate, although they did not seem terribly enthusiastic about it. I think the seeds are probably too large for them. The pigeons, rabbits, and chipmunks may be more interested once they discover the pile.
Our evenings of being able to sit out and watch birds are getting shorter and shorter and the weather cools, and will probably end completely by next weekend with the shift back to standard time.
