Some of you may recall that a few weeks ago after a heavy rain, we discovered a leak in the roof that turned out to be failed seals around plumbing vents, but at the same time, Lisa discovered that a shingle had blown off the roof and
we had to spend $65 to buy a whole box of shingles to replace the missing one.
While clearing weeds on Saturday, I found the shingle that had blown off the roof. It was buried within the bushes I dug out of the East Lot.
Too bad we didn't find this sooner. The blown-off shingle looks to be in sufficiently good shape that we could have just tacked it back into place with new nails.
