Plumber & Today's List

The plumber came today! He snaked our drain and all is better now. I LOVE watching handymen work. It's not anything to do with the men themselves, it's much more to do with the activity. I love learning about how buildings are put together. I like watching people put computers together, roof houses, fix toilets, unclog drains, install outlets, read meters, just about anything, really. I love knowing how things work. Big ol' dyky geek, I am.

Today:

paid landline/internet, toll-free, cell phones, L's credit card

notated payment amount, method of payment and date of payment on the appropriate bill, then put them all in their appropriate binder

changed litter in both litter boxes

found and organized more paperwork

cleaned with alcohol all nailpolish bottles that we're giving away (I should clean the ones we're keeping, too!) Done!

for each room of apt., made list of precisely what needs to be organized so that I don't get confused with what I should be working on next

walked Kiska (but I do that nearly everyday)

started listening to cds that are questionable in my mind -- if we like them, we keep; if not, we sell. also include those that only have a few songs we like -- must rip those to mp3s and then sell cd.

tidied under sink after plumber left -- it's not as scary under there as I thought it might be!

crapped out on Eros Party; cleaned and organized bottom shelf in bathroom instead

went through pens and pencils on my desk; tossed the pens that no longer worked

checked out those two cds I had no clue about; discovered one was crap and the other had ten pretty decent songs on it and a nasty scratch that fucked with about 4 of those songs.

Tomorrow, Nikos is taking me to the Science Centre! Yay for bodies!
