I'm very much torn between the no-need-to-celebrate-don't-buy-me-anything-it's-just-a-day-like-any-other attitude and the let's-party-buy-me-this-and-this-and-this-please-now-thank-you attitude. I don't know what to do. This is not making things easy for Lynx, either. She's trying so hard to do good by me, but if I don't know what I want, then

well, the Buffalo jeans I have are size 31, but I've no idea what the heck that means. Normally, I wear pants size 6-8, but it really depends on the cut.

*gets tape measure out*

My hips are 41" (ergh, they're back up from 39" a couple of years ago *pout*)

Thinnest part of waist is 26.5", but I can't stand high-waisted pants, so I measured where I like the waistband to hit and I came up with 31", which is, I guess, where the Buffalo jeans come in. Oh, and there's NO GAP in the back with these jeans. They're the Best Evar!

If the pairs you have sound remotely workable, I'd like to try them on.

Thanks for the offer. For this particular project, I only need the 42x30 shelves. Depending on how that turns out, and in what state it leaves our bedroom, I may or may not be in need of more IVAR. I will readily admit that I am an IVAR junkie, though. Through and through. I love its customizability. Makes me irritatingly happy. :D
