Fruits Basket....
I swore I would never never never never EVER read that book... ... i did. ... and i like it. *cowers in shame* but i like it.. and it's actually a very intricate plot with this dark history and undertone even though it appears happy-go-lucky on the outside.
but by far my favorite character is Haru. oh my gosh. that dude can make me laugh while being so deadpan serious, or truthful, or when he's in his odd moments and composes an entire story to explain something, when really it's as simple as "he got lost". teehee. I bought the DVD the other day and this one part that is in the book appeared in the show- and i was just giggling in laughter.
It's when the school president walks up and starts telling Haru and Momiji that they are violating the dress code (Momiji is in a dress, i can understand.) Haru's hair is naturally white but the president won't believe him; so after Haru goes 'black' (what they call him going evil-phyco) he drags the president-dude off to the bathroom.... then when they return the president looks as white as a ghost and states "okay... i believe you" and he sort of staggers off in a daze.
needless to say, it's very evident what he did.... and this just as me giggling in the hallway. I just find that so funny; and i don't know why! i'm a geek, i know that... i just thought it was hullarious. ... i'm weird i know. but that scene made my day; and considering i'm all 'bleh' because i'm sick, it was the highlight of the day.
that; and seeing Shigure all sparkles and happy-faced as he states "I'll go to the school to pick up your things, you stay here and rest." and then as soon as he turns his back he thinks 'Highschool girls! Highschool girls! i get to see Highschool girls!' he's a perv, but he makes me giggle. he's so sarcastic -always freaking out his editor when really he has had all 500 pages finished for like three months, but then telling her things like 'i have no creativity right now... i can't possibly write...' but never actually saying THAT specifit project. teehee. he's evil, but he's funny ^-^
okay, now that my geek-fest is over... ... that's really it. nothing really impressive happened. i did draw a picture of Richard and Luke -Richard is all happy because he got laid, and Luke glares at him and says "you're such a slut. shut up." I did post it on Deviantart.com. but it's just a doodle i did on my artpad with them in chibi-form. i like how Luke's hair turned out. i'm VERY happy with that. i think i'll keep it. ^_^
