I started reading the Kuroshitsuji manga. I had to stop, because the dialogue was sort of ridiculous (“I am the butler of DEATH!”), and because the anachronisms made me froth at the mouth.

OMG ISN'T IT???

I hardly know anybody who watched it, and a lot of them are like "but it's so silly" and I'm like "but who cares".
It's just so nice to watch a show that's just fun, and even the shipping opportunities are sweet (lol, it's more like the Almost Canon Foursome, on that show...). you wouldn't happen to be an IM-using type person and be up for some more in depth squeeing, would you? do say yes! Episode 2 comes out soon and I have nobody to pick it apart with!

From what I've heard, SPN does sound like it will have upcoming epicness, so I'll probably stick with it for now. But that's one show's fandom I will definitely stay away from - they do seem batshit, and I'm not really into incest anyway. (unlike the Merlin fandom, which is pretty darn fun and loving, from what I've seen)

Hmmmm.... I have not been able to get into Merlin. I've tried, I really have, but there's just something missing for me there. Maybe I'll give it another try...

That said, I know some Merlin fans I could introduce you to...

I can understand not getting into it. Like I said, some days I wonder how I myself managed it in the first place XD
I mostly see it as very, very cute. The plot is iffy, and there are silly plotholes and anachronisms, but the characters have a LOT of chemistry, imo. But that's not necessarily enough for you to enjoy the show.

I might hit you up for some introductions, actually XD maybe after the High Holidays, though, things are crazy and hectic right now...

Now THAT'S weird, because right after I finished my Japanese class that day, I went to the video store to choose myself a new series, and I saw Merlin on the shelf and I was all "this looks nice. Should I? Shouldn't I? Well, never mind, maybe some other time."

I guess I'm gonna have to watch it now XD

XD that really is funny. Well, Merlin is very cute. Don't come with great expectations of OMG AMAZINGNESS, but I personally enjoyed it a lot.

I've never actually seen Merlin, the BBC went crazy advertising for it though. I might check it out on the Iplayer now.

I also think the cast are going to be at a London con i'm possibly heading to next month. Any video requests? XD

XDD dude, any vid of them is bound to be cute. The actors are adorable, much as their characters are.
If you do check out Merlin, don't make the mistake of expecting to be bowled over or anything. It's ridiculous. But I do love it XD
