Lammas
I wasn't even thinking about it (Bad pagan, no biscuit), but it seems to be Lammas/Lughnasad.
How very apropos. I've generally thought of Lammas as, among other things, a recognition of necessary sacrifice. I think it's time to pick up my metaphorical scythe and get rid of some of the things that tie me down, that keep me in situations that only sap my strength and wring my nerves.
