Firekeeper, aka Lady Blysse Norwood of Kestrel House, Hawk Haven (or possibly Bright Haven by now): Yes, that's a long fricking name, isn't it? First and foremost, the thing you should know about Firekeeper- and the thing she'll inform you of rather emphatically if you insist on calling her human- is that she's a wolf. Despite the shape, yes. She was raised alongside intelligent, language-using wolves; the term she uses to describe them is "Royal Wolves", since they're bigger, smarter, and faster than their so-called "cousins". About two years ago (well two and a half now) she was "discovered" by a party of exploring humans and adopted by Earl Kestrel, Norvin Norwood.
Her exact age is something of a mystery, but guesses have her at about 16- which yes, makes her kind of old for a freshman, but she's only been around humans for two years so she needs all the schooling she can get. She talks kind of funny since she's still kind of new to Pellish English and has a stubborn desire not to use more words than absolutely neccessary. Mostly, she introduces herself by her human name (which isn't actually the human name she was born with, but that's not really relevant), Blysse, and that's also the name that'd be on any sort of official documentation. Only handful of people are aware of her wolf-given name, which is Firekeeper.
As a result of growing up wolf, she can talk to just about any animal out there- if this particular ability might cause a problem (like say you are NPCing someone else's transformed-into-an-animal student), we can handwave cross-dimensional-whatsis-language-barrier-whatever.
Oh yeah- along with her is an unusually large wolf with blue (yes, blue) eyes named Blind Seer. He's her packmate, not her pet, and he's perfectly capable of understanding human speech. Hell, he can even read a little, which is more than Firekeeper can do.
And yes, yes that is Kristen Stewart as her PB.
