live!update from London
With an internet cafe just down the street from the hotel, I couldn't resist. I'm having a fabulous time so far--waves to kabukivice, who I got to meet and have three hours of lovely fannish conversation with, while drinking the most delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows in very comfy chairs. (That was a long sentence. Also, it just took me about two minutes to find the quotation marks on this keyboard. Hee!)
Spent the day in Greenwich, on laurashapiro's recommendation--I'd been there before, but it was over 10 years ago. So when she mentioned it in chat a couple of weeks ago, it stuck in my head as a pleasant way to spend the day. And so it was :).
Just checked my email and have received my R/S sesa assignment for shacking_up. Along with watching PoA on the plane ride over here, that's enough to have me musing about Remus and Sirius as I wander around London.
OK, heading back to the hotel now. I will have a more thorough travel report when I touch back down in the States. With pictures!
