One of the issues which continues to be problematical in considering which of the accessible ebook readers to purchase--aside from the large ticket price on these devices--is the fact that, since there are now multiple flavors of Daisy ebook formats, not all of the formats are meant to be played on all readers. I just ran across a post made by someone I consider to be one of the experts on the subject of accessible educaitonal materials, and he suggested the inexpensive Netbooks as a solution, since all the various Daisy reader software programs can be loaded onto this one device, and it still comes in at about half the price of some of the assistive tech products. Sweet.
