Things

I went to the grocery store today, before I made granola and cooked the chicken for the potluck tomorrow. Giant had plastic deck chairs and tables for $7 a piece. So, I got two chairs and a table. Let me tell you, getting those things home was an event. I nearly cried when they fell out of my rollycart for the fourth time and I nearly killed the guy trying to around me. He had a rolllybag and was trying to get around, I guess, but I just hated him because I was already miserable.

Anyway, I got them home (a bit scraped but otherwise OK), put them out on my deck and sat in one and read a book and ate my dinner. And it was delightful, except that my backyard looks disgusting. I think I want to do something about it, except I don't know where to begin. Also, I forget to water plants. A lot. And Old Roommate left her bike in the backyard and it's gross. My neighbors have much nicer backyards. The more I live in the house, the more I think I'm the only one who cares about the upkeep. I'm certainly the only one who sweeps up the place.

Fridge situation resolved, by the way. I'd left a note the night before she left a note asking for more fridge space. When she got home she was all 'omg, my bad!' and I mentioned that the top shelf of the fridge and most of the freezer was not my food.

Sheep and wool tomorrow! Yay! I've got my sunscreen, camera and purchase bag already packed. I think I just need to add chicken and car knitting.
