I never have a lot to say in these journal entries. I just use it as a random-thought diary because writing with a pencil in a proper journal is too slow and tedious for me to want to do it.

I went out to Best Buy today to look at graphics tablets, hoping to find one that came with a mouse that was relatively cheap. It turns out Wacom doesn't include mice with their tablets anymore. snarf. But I found a tablet with pen and touch cabibilities - its like a giant laptop track-pad. Not 3 minutes after I coerced my laptop into letting me post my everythings-dying rant, the screen froze. I had to force-shutdown with the power button, and it absolutely refused to come back to life. Ugh.

I may be forced to buy for exorbitant prices a mouse or tablet just to use my home PC. I'm on a school computer right now doing price research.

Right now I have Much Love for my brother Cassity, who has introduced me to Synergy, a fantastic freeware program that allows one mouse/keyboard to be used between multiple computers. <3 Now I can use my mouse and keyboard between my PC and my laptop. While it's not quite another monitor, since I can't pull windows across, it is one step better ( Read more... )

Well my computer has been replaced, and I do so adore my new system. It's got TONS of space, came with speakers and a keyboard and a mouse, though I don't use the mouse cuz I have a tablet. And Vista is so pretty. Though I've spent the better part of two days customizing it with programs and stuff, and haven't really used it for anything major.

My computer seems to be on strike. First, it began unexpectedly quitting Adobe Photoshop, Internet Explorer, and now MSN Messanger.
