I had a really wonderful day today. I met up with Nancy at the high school, and she had all her millions of wheelchairs there. I brought mine, and we played wheelchair basketball with the adapted PE class. It was awesome. The whole class was really well-behaved, and there was a PAL for every student. I really noticed a difference from last year, when I was in a pretty bad mood all winter break and all I wanted to do was talk to Nancy. This year, I got back into the PAL thing and enjoyed it. There was one girl there (a PAL) who kept saying "This is so fun. I love wheelchairs." I told her I understood completely and that was why I was studying their design.
Nancy and I went out for "tea" afterwards (I got a coke float and she got hot chocolate), and, as usual, she told me all about what she's been doing lately and what she did in high school. I hope I can meet up with her again this break, because I kind of have more things I want to discuss with her. On the whole, it was a near-perfect day.
