I like to remake old things rather than buying new (insert joke about my second marriage here) to save money and to keep junk out of landfill. My newest project is to create a storage bench for the end of our bed. This ugly little footstool should provide me with a lot of the elements I will need. I can salvage the legs, crossbraces and hinges. Luckily it was assembled without any glue and everything unscrewed without damage.
