Move to Charlottesville
After a great deal of putting off, we're finally all moved to Charlottesville! The moving company couldn't do it on Friday and re-scheduled for Saturday and then sub-contracted it out to another moving company and then they had to push it back so we didn't end up moving in until Sunday. Probably all for the best, since we weren't really all finished packing until Saturday night. Now all we need to do is head back to the apt. in Annandale next weekend to clean it up. The apartment here in Charlottesville is very nice (brand new *really* soft carpet). Only problem is: in the 2nd bedroom which we were planning to turn into an office, the cable outlet doesn't have a strong enough signal for a modem to pick it up so the only room where we can hook up internet is the living room.... We're hoping management can do something about it, otherwise we're gonna have to move a lot of stuff around to make it all work. Planning to have an apartment warming party sometime soon, we'll let y'all know when.
