Does anyone see this as a problem?

Continuing my theme of rants against illegal immigration, I'm gonna throw out some statistics.  It is difficult to compute exactly how many illegal immigrants there are in the US at any time, because, by definition, they're un-documented.  I've heard estimates from various news sources of anywhere from 10 million to 20 million.  Let's take the lower end of that and say 10 million.  In 2004 there was an estimated 3,158,443 "totally ineligible felons" in the United States (referring to Voting) according to a survey done by GMU.  That means there are well over 3 times the number of illegal immigrants as there are all other felons COMBINED in the United States.....  And there are areas in this country, like Los Angeles, CA where police officers are not even ALLOWED to arrest people for being here ILLEGALLY!  Police officers who aren't allowed to enforce the law.  What law is next?  What other laws are we going to just decide one day to ignore?  *sigh*  btw, for those who don't understand, illegal means NOT legal, as in, a CRIME.
